I noticed that the reporter used the phrase "AK-47 assault rifle" and "9mm automatic pistol".

An assault rifle has selective fire switch to choose single or full auto fire. I doubt that the accused had an assault rifle. 

Has anyone seen a 9mm automatic handgun? I know of 9mm semi automatic pistol.

Just some of my questions.

i hope that the CCSO did not give that information to the reporter. I hope that they know the difference between different weapons.

I filled up with gas at BJ's yesterday and noticed that there was a small sign on the pump that said "contains 10% ethanol"

Has anyone noticed the signs at the gas station you visit?

As you all know that I am against using gas that contains ethanol. It is not good for your engine and you get less miles per gal. It attracts moisture. It is harmful to cast iron engines, ie: your lawnmower, emergency generator.

Are there any problems with ethanol?
Oh, yes. Ethanol can't travel in pipelines along with gasoline, because it picks up excess water and impurities. As a result, ethanol needs to be transported by trucks, trains, or barges, which is more expensive and complicated than sending it down a pipeline. As refiners switched to ethanol this spring, the change in transport needs has likely contributed to the rise in gas prices. Some experts argue that the U. S. doesn't have adequate infrastructure for wide ethanol use.

I just got back from an Orlando vacation.

The whole county is now serving 10% or less ethanol gasoline.

The following was taken from an article in the Orlando Sentinel, May 7 2008. Business section by Beth Kassab

You cannot use this gasoline in boats because it causes the glue in the fiberglass to melt and the fuel filters will clog up with fiberglass.

It cannot be used in old collector cars.

It cannot be used in off-road vehicles

It cannot be used in motorcycles.

It cannot be used in small engines like lawnmower engines, gas powered weed wackers.

There is a bill going through the state now that will make it a life sentence to attempt or kill a policeman.

Now I like this kind of stuff. 

I wonder if the criminals will think about shooting at a policeman now.

I only hope that this law will pass with no plea bargaining, so no soft hearted judge can give less.

Rather than to tag onto another blog, Ithought I would start another fresh one.

Truthhurts stated that he did not think that we need the draft.

In humble opinion I think we need the draft.

All citizens should spend 2 years in the military after graduating high school.

Read (able bodied). It will build character, A respect for authority, Physical health, An education that has no equal, Mental discipline, a sense of self worth. 

My military comrade in arms know this.

 Now before anyone goes off the deep end. There are exceptions such as have to care for and or support another person. Hardship cases. 

FYI:

Although Tire Kingdom has great prices on tires, I would like to point out a problem that the supply system has.

You need shocks, Tire Kingdom quotes you a price of $145 for heavy duty shocks for your 8000 lb vehicle. You check with NAPA or Advaced Auto Parts and find out that they cost only$45.00 to $50.00

You ask the manager of the Tire Kingdom store why the big price difference? He tells you that his supply house charges him $85.00 for the shocks and he charges you a mark up of $60.00.

 I would caution anyone to check around on prices for any work that you need done other than tires. 

I guess this could be put under education. A learning experience.

I took my computer to a repair shop, it had crashed.

I was told that the motherboard was bad. I was planning on upgrading the unit anyway. I told the repair facility to install a new motherboard and upgrade the memory.

I got it back and ran it. There was no "d" partition just the "c" drive. All the window and money programs that came with the computer were gone. I ask the tech why he erased the drive. He said that they do that just incase there was a virius on it. And most of you know that you do not get a disk with all the programs on it when you buy a computer although you pay for the programs in the price of the computer.

Today there were 159 guests on line.

Pay attention people. They are about to play slick willy with us again.

I read in the My Clay Sun today that the Commission want to impose an IMPACT FEE on us to finance road improvements.

My blood pressure went up so high I thought I was going to by the farm. Is this a legal way to put another tax on us?

Years ago we voted for a 1/2 cent sales tas on gas to pay for road improvements. What did they do with the money?

Instead of using it for the roads they put it in the general fund. Ok now that they need money for the roads they need to put the money back into the road fund. This is outragious.  Any commissioner that votes for this will not get my vote next time.
