How Far is 60 Miles??

Clearwater to St Petersburg. That is how far 60 miles is and that is just how far I will be walking Oct 19-21. I will be walking in the Susan G Komen Breast Cancer 3 Day with thousands of other men and women.

I am walking in memory of my grandmother who I lost August 20 this year who battled breast cancer for over 10 years. The walk is to raise awareness and funds for a cure for breast cancer. This is my first year doing anything like this. As my grandmother's health started to digress, I realized I didnt want to see anyone go through as much pain as she did.

My goal is to raise $2200 in donations. So far, I am only a couple hundred away. All I ask now, is that everyone that reads this and wants our children to live in a breast cancer free world, to make a small donation of $10. 100% of proceeds go towards breast cancer research with Susan G Komen Org and National Philanthropic Trust Fund (more information can be found at www.the3day.org).
