Hi Shannon!

Would you elaborate on what type of place the Seafood Factory is?  I went there when it was the Players Grille but haven't checked out the new tenant.

It has now been turned into a really nice Seafood place (the official name is "Seafood Factory Bar & Grille). The tv's are still there as well as the bar. Only some of the televisions are on, None with sound (except the little ones at the booths if you so choose to have them on). They have changed out the tables and the floors in there. On the side with the stage they have bar height tables and stools. I believe they are still working on finishing up things there. They have built a nice stage for entertainment (They are still working on finishing a cover up over the roof to help with the sound and to offer closed circuit viewing of the entertainment.)

I've eatten there and food is really good, all the way down to the edible flowers they use for garnish. (which helps out once you see the prices of things there.) I don't eat out to often but. I guess they are comparable to other seafood places. They offer entre'es and appetizers, assorted salads and seafood platters. They also serve Steaks and Chicken (you can still order chicken wings for those that go to watch the games on the weekends even though they arn't on the menu.) I think It is a Big Step up from when it was the players grille. The owners, Management and wait staff are really nice and friendly. (I do NOT work there nor have I ever. Just an FYI)  I think if you like seafood you should for sure give it a try. My friend Craig Hand sings there this Friday night starting around 8:30. He will be there Fridays (except next friday) through the month of November. If you like Country Music you should come out and give him a listen!

We were with friends one night, wandering around the HD area while waiting for tables at LaNapalera.  We saw the new menu outside the former Player's Grille and as we were standing there, several people came out and told us how wonderful the food was here at the Seafood Factory.  We plan to return and check out their menu.  A tad pricey but it seemed there was something for every taste preference.  No indication at that point, that there was music!  Not many places on Fleming Island have live music.  Looking forward to checking it out.  Thanks, Shannon!

Just wondering if country music is the only "flavor" they are featuring.  We really like the old rock 'n' roll - Eagles, Tom Petty, 70s and 80s stuff.

We will probably check it out for ourselves, but just wondered, since you seem so aware of the venue that you might have some information as to the type of music being considered there.

I know they had mentioned wanting to do more. I really don't know at this point. I'll be glad to find out Friday and post my findings if you haven't heard anything by then. As far as having all types of food that they do! I was really surprised.. If I am not mistaken, they serve hamburgers and things like that also, it is listed on the take out menu. I know they have added somethings outside in the glass case that you are talking about. I can't recall off hand but I know that they put my friend's autograph photo up out there. If you come out Friday I hope you enjoy the music, and you are quite welcome!
