This insane travesty being placed on us Americans by the liberal do nothing 110th congress. The constitution says we the people, NOT! We the corporations, Two government reports have indicated that a major reason tech employers hire H-1Bs is for cheap labor. As a result, American workers are displaced from high-paying jobs in tech fields. The H-1B visa program plays a major role in the off shoring of high-paying tech jobs as well. Therefore, the H-1B visa program does little to recruit homegrown talent. Rather, it only supplies businesses with cheap foreign labor. This video shows how firms hold seminars to teach companies how to avoid hiring American workers in order to get more H-1Bs: A bill introduced last week by U.S. Rep. Gabrielle Giffords would double the number of H-1B visas that allow immigrants to legally work in the United States. The Tucson Democrat's bill, known as the Innovation Employment Act, calls for increasing the limit of H-1B visas from 65,000 a year to 130,000 a year. Another bill submitted by U.S. Rep.
