Fliers Beware

When Shakespeare penned the words "First, we kill all the lawyers" in his play Henry VI, he would have been amazed at how beloved that phrase would become. I believe it to be an incomplete phrase and he should have added the words "before they grow up to be judges". Once more the robe clad usurpers of human decency have struck at a suffering public.

Last year legislation was enacted giving airline passengers basic rights to food, water and bathroom privelges when stranded (or held hostage) on airplanes awaiting departure for whatever reason. Today, the new York Court of appeals have deemed it unconscionable that individuals have these rights. Here is a link to the New York Times story. Read it and weep, then buy a ticket on Amtrack.

For those of you who know me through my writings, I am presenting one more reason why we should always vote NO on retaining any judge. This is always the outcome, sooner or later.
