Reach For the Stars

Life is a roller coaster ride, twisting, turning, climbing, and falling. Relationships, business, politics, finances, parenting, the list goes on and on.

When we reach for the stars we must also expect that failure is inevitable. How we deal with those failures, will determine whether you’re a winner or a loser.

Loser’s, when defeated will walk away with their tails tucked between their legs and simply give up. Winners, after failure will make adjustments, study where they went wrong and try again until they are successful.

It’s very important that when we see folks that have failed, to encourage them to pick themselves up, regroup and continue to work for what they want to accomplish.

Of course it is understood that not everyone can be a concert pianist, world class chess champ, or heavy weight champion of the world. But we must never discourage folks from trying.

When you fight the good fight, and in your heart know they you have given it your best, trained your hardest, pushed yourself to your limits and still failed. You are still indeed a winner, and the bite of failure is not so painful.

So my thought of the day is this.

Always fight the good fight.

Always train and study hard.

Always pick yourself up and try again.

And

Never stop reaching for the stars.

We can all be winners.

Thats just my opinion, I could be wrong. Laughing

Every contest has a winner and a loser.  Being a loser doesn't mean that you failed.  Losing only means that circumstances occured that were more than you could overcome at that point in time.  Failure happens when the person just gives up and quits trying.  As long as you continue trying to achieve the goal you've set there is always a chance you can win the day.  Tiger Woods is considered the number one golfer in recent time but he has been known to lose once in awhile.

If you look at life in the big picture, life is just a game.  Life is a series of goals that we set for ourselves.  If we set attainable goals and continue to strive for them, we're always a winner because we keep trying.  If those goals are unrealistic we are only setting ourselves up for failure because there comes a time when we MUST quit.  Losers aren't failures.  Quitters are.
