Maxie's right, it's amazing what a little editing can do. This trailer has been re-edited from the original to make The Shining (and notice the name of the trailer...it's just "Shining") look like a love movie. In the trailer, Nicholson is a write struggling to finish his book when he comes across a single mother and her child, and a romance blossoms. Of course, that's nothing like the original plot. 904.359.4538 e-mail Jonathan Submitted by bigmig9999 on Thu, 05/08/2008 - 11:14am.

The song is Solsbury Hill by Peter Gabriel. I think it was also used in a commercial at some point. Jonathon,
OK, I'll ask. What's the hook? I saw the movie when it first came out & didn't care for it. In fact, the only thing I liked was Jack's line, "Here's Johnie." Obviously, I missed something in this post, but I'll be darned if I know what it is. Tell me. Please, please please!!!!! I've had a real bad day & I'm not above pleading, begging, sniveling or groveling. Just get it over with so I can start on tomorrow. 'Cause after all, tomorrow is another day. Auntie Em! Auntie Em! Is this heaven? Naw, just Florida. Oh, that expains a lot of things. Hep me, hep me.
