To top it all off

Read the story this morning on Ms Fitzgerald sueing the County for reimbursement for her legal fees.  Well isn't that just the top of the Ice Berg!  First of all an educated person, public figure that is making laws for county citizens to follow, in my opinion wrongfully uses County personnel and resources and a host of other items pulls this "change of venue" because she claims the inability to get a fair trial in front of the people that she "supposedly" wrongfully used these resources and wins that motion.  Goes to St. Johns County were her "so called peers" returned "nonguilty" verdicts and now she wants Clay County to pay her legal fees.  This is nothing but a sham and a crock.  She was tried in front of people whom she didn't wrong, who probably could give a crap about the accusations.  She was never tried infront of her own constituents.  I guess justice is sweet in that regards but as I see it the citizens of Clay County were wronged again.

This law suite is liable to cost, us, the tax payers of Clay County more then the illegal dumping scandal that brought all this to the forefront in the first place. So not only do we have to pay the bill to clean up after the illegal dumping we now will have to pay (if we lose)the cost of a length court process.  Can't wait.  Wonder what kind of impact fee the BCC will come up with now to pay this bill, if the lose.

Democracy, Hah
