People like Mike and Marsha meed to understand that to people like Scoop b4 whatever ( of which we have a considerable no. on Clay) Can not accept or even imagine any one running to do the rifgt thing or have the right motive. To theese people You only enter politics to gain something or to serve as some one's puppet. Remember Mike Principle is not a good enough reason to fight for anything, and if you dare think outside the box then you just an outsider.
If there ever was a time where a write in or a " independent " had a chance it is now. If the people even bother to show up
There are some good 'party' candidates out there, but I'm hoping that people will take the others seriously. There are some really good ones and none of us are running just for kicks.
Come November the voters are going to have some tough decisions to make. The ballot will have the best (or at least most popular) party candidate and a second choice in 4 of the 5 BoCC races plus the Superintendent of Schools race.
That can only be a good thing for the voters regardless of the outcome. Maybe this will start a new trend. We might even see a DEM on the ballot in the next election cycle. Wouldn't that be something to see?
