Debate Tonight!!!I don’t know if there has been a blog posted on the subject, but there is a debate/forum tonight that will involve all the candidates running for offices in Clay County. It will happen at 6pm at Ridgeview High School and is scheduled to run until 9pm. I think this will be a good opportunity for everyone to hear the issues from the candidates themselves, and not listen to what other people have to say. A lot of us have presented very compelling arguments about certain candidates, but I don’t think voters should make their decisions based upon what happens on MCS. The point - Come out and listen to what the candidates want to say…make your own conclusions and most of all…. BE INFORMED!!! Actually, I think it is ironic that I make a post about it and then don't attend, but I had some things come up and I could not make it. Does anyone know if it was taped? I have limited knowledge on some of the candidates, and would like to learn about their positions.

Mr. pike, I was there and there were two video cameras running. I don't know if it's for You Tube (Sheriffs Gone Wild) or if it will show up on cable. Or maybe it's just an in house thing for the REP. Call them. I can say, there was no whar near enuf beer. People are talking about ...Here are the recent blog postings with the most comments. |

This may be a 'debate' but I don't think so. I think mostly each candidate that is allowed to speak will have a certain amont of time at the podium.
It certainly will not be ALL the candidates. All are invited but only the Republicans will be given the opportunity to speak.
