Thank you guy’s

Thank you guy’s, none of you will ever know just how much all who blog here has meant to me. This has been the worst flare that I have had since 1994, that was three months in bed, almost set a record this time. This forum has been my portal to the outside world for the last 87 days. My lap top has remained at bed side for the duration. Reading is how I passed the long hours placed before me. Thanks all of you, Today is Good, really!

Hope you are feeling better, though I don't know you. It's kind of like that movie pay it forward (have not seen it yet) but I helped a stranger today. His car was broke down at Blanding and Knight Boxx. I noticed him when I was return a movie to the red box (thanks to the person who help me with that also) while I was pulling through the parking lot (with a PSA parked with the air on and looking not to concerned) I pulled out and pushed him up the hill and into the Walgreen parking lot. Hopefully my wife want notice the red paint on her car. Any who hope you are feeling better and have a great day.

Thank you, for your concern, I am up and atum and it feels good to feel good. Paying it forward pays you back. In other words if you help one in need the favor will be returned at some point and time, all though  it is getting harder to find those willing to lend a hand to someone in need.

A while back I had to go too the pharmacy for my meds, as I was pulling in an elderly lady was pulling out.  She had a flat tire and didn’t even realize it. I flagged her down and let her know about her tire, I changed the tire for her, and she went on her way.

As it happed, coming out of the pharmacy when I got into my car the battery was dead. I did have jumper cables in my car, I walk over to several people and ask for help, I couldn’t believe that no one that I ask would help me out. I went back to my car, and rolled it out into the middle of the main entrance coming into the parking lot. I thought for sure someone would help me now. It was as if I was not even there, I had the cables hook up to my car holding them out to people as they drove right on by, I was so close to their cars I could have knock on the windows as they drove by.

I don’t know why I’m telling this story, anyway as I was standing there, by this time waving at the people driving by me; I am thinking this isn’t good I can’t be in the sun this long, the sun really messes with my lupus. I had already been in the sun for almost two hours, after changing the woman’s tire, and waiting for some kind soul to help me out.

I was really starting to get fatigued and just plum wore out standing there as the invisible man. I just couldn’t believe that every one who passed by wouldn’t even look at me , they would actually turn their heads as if , if I don’t look at him he won’t see me. As the hour passed by finally an elderly man stopped and asks if he could help me. What a relief, we tried jumping the car and it wouldn’t work, he found the problem; my cables were dirty the man had the tools in his car to fix them.

When that car started, I was so ready to get out of that sun, and heat; I couldn’t thank the man enough for his help. I got to thinking, out of all of the ones who passed by and didn’t help me, I guess it was meant to be, they probably didn’t have the tools to fix my problem as the old man did. It is getting harder to find people that want to help someone in need, but they are out there.

The ones who pay it forward are the ones that are truly a blessing, when they help someone in need. Kindness is returned to those who help their fellow man, call it what you want, karma, or what ever. But the old saying, “What goes around, comes around” is true. Kindness is returned as the same.   Today is Good!
