You cannot put out blogs like he does and not expect people to be upset about them. They border on fanaticism. It's scary to me just reading them. If it were me he was ranting about and stalking I would have had him up on charges a long time ago.

Ok, I missed the debut of CookieCutter and from the looks of the new user list the blog didn't merely get pulled, that name/account may have been completely tossed as it should be.

I'm with you Mike, what has gone on in these blogs regarding CCAC is just too far over the top and borders on stalking and harrassment.  It also compromises a valuable forum for the citizens to get together and discuss the issues.

I don't know what is true and what isn't with regards to this agency of our local goverment but Dons behavior doesn't make his case for him, it just makes him look like a nutcase.  He is his own worst enemy, and if what he is saying is true it is the animals that will suffer for his behavior.

Gottasayit comparing the two situations if you squint and try real hard I can see what you're saying.....but I gotta say the approaches to resolving the problems are about as opposite as they can be.  The ONLY thing in common is that they're both part of county goverment and that is where the similarity ends.

You are correct, I did say I hoped it was not Don in 'Drag'. I just don't need that image floating around in my head.

When I emailed Jonathan off line I mentioned that Connie used to be Cookie and that Don knew that. In addition to the style I immediately thought of Don because of the screen name.

I did not know that was a picture of Connie. I have never met her and don't remember seeing this picture in the paper.

Whether it came from the paper of not, using her picture implies that it is her and it was not. I would not be real happy if someone started using my picture as an avatar and started blogging under some other screen name.

I can get in enough trouble all by myself, I don't need any help. This guy is just smart enough to be dangerous and just scary enough that I would have already been on the phone with CCSO, MCS and a lawyer.

We don't need this type of noteriety on the MCS blog site. It is too valuable an asset to be lost to one out of control individual.

I agree about the privilege begin preserved for us all on the blogs. I agree with Marsha he is his own worst enemy and the animals suffer. I hope they take a close look at animal control and work to fix some of the problems.

Two things, Mike.

Second, and don't confuse this with defending Don's constant rants presented in such a rude and childishly illiterate manner, but the bottom line is that he perceives problems within a government department, points the finger at what he believes is less than adequate director, and calls for a change in management.

He may well violate the user's agreement with MCS and irritate us all, and there isn't any question that he is his own credibility's worst enemy.  But Don hasn't threatened the director of CCAC, just her job.  There's a huge leap between that and stalking.

When I go to the Bill of Rights, there's nothing in there about a minimum standard of literacy in order to complain about government.  And there's no maximum number of times I can complain before crossing the line and becoming a stalker.

Kick his butt off MCS.  Call him names and make fun of him.  But don't call him a criminal just for saying a government department needs a new director in order to run efficiently.  If you do that, you might as well lock me up, too.

I usually agree with you at about a 95+% but you've dropped to a very low number on this one.

I don't know if you saw his blogs this morning or not. I happened to have a lot on my mind and was up roaming the house at about 2:00 this morning.

The 3 blogs and one comment he made all had Connie's picture as the avatar. That is way over the line. That is scary. That probably meets the criteria for electronic stalking. That is not right in any sense of the word.

I'm no fan of Connie's management of CCAC either but I draw the line at using someone's picture as your avatar to try to discredit them. That to me is character assassination.

I've already stated what I would be doing if he used my picture to imply he were me and I meant every word of it. He better have more financial resources than I do because I'd spend every dime I had or could borrow to take him down.

You mess with who someone is and use their picture as if you were them you deserve no more than you get. And he darn well better be ready to defend himself legally when he steps over that line. If he is so stupid as to think that he can do that with impunity then somebody better take away his keyboard.

That is not a SLAPP, that is protecting your name and image. I don't care if she might be a bad manager. She may need to be replaced. Some of what Don implies may be true but her picture is her and is not up for grabs by anybody.

And that is all I have to say about that. I'll get off my soap box now.

Yes I did use a different avatar at one time. It was Peter Sellers in character as Inspector Clouseau from the Pink Panther series.

I hardly think that qualifies as trying to impersonate someone on this blog site. I doubt that anyone thought that I was really the deceased Peter Sellers.

I'm pretty sure that no one thinks Baxley (Bill Garrison) is really the long dead Groucho Marx.

This is where you and I take different tracks on things sometimes. You write that as if I was using a picture of Mike Mann or Fred Catchpole or someone else out here local for some sinister reason. When in fact you knew exactly who my avatar was.

I even took the time to explain why I was using that avatar in one of my posts.

Now if everyone knew who you were and I had a picture of you and used it as an avatar and did not sign a name to the post wouldn't you expect that perhaps people might think it was you posting those comments?

Would you not want to do whatever it took to make me stop using that picture? His actions are indefensible. Don't waste your considerable talent trying to do so.

As usual, I was up before-bright and early, and saw all three of the blogs that were pulled.  Also saw the new avatar, although I frankly didn't recognize it as a picture of CCAC's director.  Especially if I had, though, I would have never thought "cookiecutter" was trying to actually portray himself as the person in the picture.

I agree that, taken as seperate incidents or in total, Don's creepy and obsessive behavior can't be condoned and shouldn't be tolerated as rules violations of MCS.  But that's not even close to a criminal offense like stalking.  If decided in court at all, which is highly unlikely considering Ms. Goon's status as a public figure and one-time willingness to engage Don in the MCS debate, it would be civil, not criminal.

There are rules against what Don has done on MCS, and Jonathan's probably having to work overtime to keep up with the ever-expanding roster of Don's usernames.  I agree it's definitely creepy how Don has obsessed with only slight variations of his single-paragraph rants.  But it's not criminal to redundantly criticize government in a particularly pathetic manner.

Don alleged criminal acts by a high-level government employee. Then others allege here that he's a stalker.  The only real differences are that his allegations were against a public official while he's a private citizen and the literary and social skills involved in making criminal allegations absent evidence.

You and I and bunch of others know the history here. But what of the new person that comes on line and sees a picture of Connie (or anyone else) that they know and reads what has been written?

How is that new person to know that it really isn't the person in the picture?

Criminal or Civil, I'd leave that to my lawyer and the courts. I'd take either one as long as he paid dearly for his transgressions.

I tried to be good and keep my big mouth shut but I am sorry I just have throw my two cents here.

I have stated this before, This man is sick in the head. He is well over six feet tall and well over 300 lbs.

He has a very un-healthy obsesive revenge motive towards Mrs Goon and CCAC.

When he was a rescue person first going to CCAC all was well. He would even bring the folks donuts when he visited them which is the main reason he keeps bringing up the donuts thingy.

Slowly but surely with each and every visit he became more and more demanding from the staff and expected preferencial treatment over others. CCAC even provided him with a little pampering for one day they allowed this man to go to the shelter to look at animals while they were closed to the public.

This was where he stepped over the line. He scared those ladies that day when after acting inappropriately he was asked to leave. He refused to leave and was shouting at them. and the police were called. He left before the police arrived, but does not negate the fact that they were frieghtened by this man.

This man never had a problem with CCAC or Mrs. Goon until after this day.

Somewhere in this same time period was when Det. Henderson was removed from her position at CCAC.

Now for all those that like to connect dots, think back to Quigley House supporters and the key poeple involved in getting this up and running and the 52 alledged stolen animals by animal control and who the Officer in charge was that was involved with those animals. Then look at the photo link above showing Mr.Don. at the Quigley House kennel and connect away at the dots.

The only time there was any problems concerning CCAC and Mrs.Goon by these two key figures was after the fact. After they were removed from CCAC

The issues that are being made over and over again have all been corrected or addressed. Some real some fabricated. They are all past tense.

The real problem stems from the mentality of hate, vindictivenss, and a sick mind that just can't let go. 

The insane rantings are because an insane man did not get his way. And a fine woman that has dedicated 19 years of her life to the animals of Clay County was Not Found Guilty of anything that would require termination still works at CCAC.

This man is not Joe citizen upset with a govenrment employee, excercising his rights to voice his concerns. These are the ranting of a scorn man, with mental health issues.

I am very happy that Mrs. Goon is ex-law enforcement. I only hope that she carries a concealed weapon because this man is very unstable and dangerous.

This is all about vendetta.

I will agree she was found not guilty. Of course we know Ms. Fitzgerald was found not guilty too. However, all three Goon, Bush and Fitzgerald were found to be incompetent. To bad they can't be fired or arrested for incompetence.

That being said, it still does not justify what is happening to Mrs. Goon here. Why anyone would want to defend this creep or spin the topic back at another attack at Mrs. Goon is beyond me and I think it's wrong personally.

If she is not guilty she is not guilty.

well this seems alot to do about nothing.   I can see a frustrated citizen trying to make people aware of a bad situation at CCAC and all he gets is called names and false accusations thrown at him.  He came on as CookieCutter and everyone knows that the director of animal control was cookie, so I believe that was a play on words to say that he was throwing some cuts at her with some more truths about what is wrong at CCAC.  Just because he doesn't come across like the rest of you or has some spelling problems does not make him wrong, or dangerous, much to the contrary he is actually a very kind and considerate human being trying to get the citizens of  clay co to do something about animal control.  The picture that was posted with him I am sure he will have not problem with, he is with a very caring and hard working group of people trying to make a difference in clay co for the animals, you will not see the director of animal controls picture there.

 First off newcomer is Dons wife. Connect the dots and check all the blogs that newcomer has participated in and there is your answer.

Spot/Don99977/Retired Farmer/Michael More-on/Cookie Cutter has had every account deleted.  This last one in record time.  He doesn't even "see" what Mr. Heemer or anyone else has written; I have yet to see him answer a direct question.  He only "sees" the rampage he is on against Mrs. Goon.  Not only is he not playing with a full deck, he can't FIND the deck.  As I said, I don't think it's your place or anyone else's place to tell Mr. Heemer, or anyone, what they should or shouldn't write about.

My point in posting this was to try to inform everyone on the site that I thought he had returned under a different name - again. And that he had once again changed his avatar but this time to a woman. I wish I had known then that it was picture of Connie. I would not have been so nice to him.

As I mentioned in another post I had been up very early and had already emailed Jonathan off line. I didn't want to just leave it to a general 'Report Abuse' button. I thought it important enough to take other measures. One of which was to post a warning about the 3 blogs and 1 comment.

I guess the part that confused me was your comment about my rant. Shoot, if I'm going 'rant' it's going to be a lot less polite than that blog.
