Green Cove Springs, FL - Due to the anticipated effects of Tropical Storm Fay, the offices of the Tax Collector and Property Appraiser have announced that they will be closed tomorrow, Thursday, August 21. All other Constitutional Offices including those of the Supervisor of Elections, Clerk of Court and Sheriff’s Office will be operating as normal. County government departments will be operating under normal business hours (8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.). The Clay County Health Department will be operating out the Bear Run Clinic on Thursday. The Ed Stansel Complex in Green Cove Springs will be closed until Friday. Advanced Disposal Services has suspended trash pick-up for tomorrow, August 21st. If your regular weekly trash pick-up day is Thursday, your trash will be picked up this week on Saturday. Friday’s trash pick-up will remain as scheduled.
