Just a quick recap on all of the election results from Tuesday night in Clay County: Clerk of the Court: Winner -- Jimmy Jett 21,347; Wayne Spivey, 9,133 Sheriff: Winner -- Rick Beseler, 17,046; Mike Taylor, 12,033; Gary Newman, 2,305 School Superintendent: Winner -- Ben Wortham, 12,523; Pat Thurman, 8,826. Will face Steven Richards in general election in November Supervisor of elections: Winner -- Chris Chambless, 15,541; Debbie Ricks, 10,891; Stefanie Thomas, 3,455 County Commission at large: Winner -- Diane Hutchings, 15,592; Ronnie Coleman, 7,794; Paul Ackley, 5,465 County Commission District 1: Winner -- Wendell Davis, 2,348; Tom Platt, 2,202; David McCall, 1,668. Davis will face Charles Nelson in the November general election. County Commission District 3: Winner -- Travis Cummings, 2,179; Debby Terry, 1,429. Cummings will face Ron Raymond in the November general election.
