Just a quick recap on all of the election results from Tuesday night in Clay County:

Clerk of the Court: Winner -- Jimmy Jett 21,347; Wayne Spivey, 9,133

Sheriff: Winner -- Rick Beseler, 17,046; Mike Taylor, 12,033; Gary Newman, 2,305

School Superintendent: Winner -- Ben Wortham, 12,523; Pat Thurman, 8,826. Will face Steven Richards in general election in November

Supervisor of elections: Winner -- Chris Chambless, 15,541; Debbie Ricks, 10,891; Stefanie Thomas, 3,455

County Commission at large: Winner -- Diane Hutchings, 15,592; Ronnie Coleman, 7,794; Paul Ackley, 5,465

County Commission District 1: Winner -- Wendell Davis, 2,348; Tom Platt, 2,202; David McCall, 1,668. Davis will face Charles Nelson in the November general election.

County Commission District 3: Winner -- Travis Cummings, 2,179; Debby Terry, 1,429. Cummings will face Ron Raymond in the November general election.

County Commission District 5: Winner -- Ronnie Robinson, 3,440; Harold Rutledge, 2,284; Dan Weisenburger, 560

School Board Distric 2: Winner -- Carol Studdard, 20,271; Duane D'Andrea, 9,225

School Board Ditrict 4: Winner -- Frank Farrell, 14,548; Ken Francis, 13,977

Unless things have changed drastically the D1 and D3 races are not over.

Wendell Davis will face Charles Nelson and Travis Cummings will face Ron Raymond in November.

No, nothing has changed drastically.  After reporting the D1 and D3 results, Lamar went on to state that those races will have challengers in November.
