U.S. Navy Country BandU.S. Navy Country Band I have seven tickets for September 18th concert at Thrasher Horn center. Three tickets are seated together, and the other four are seated together. I am not going to be able to use them and I don’t want to see them go unused. If anyone would like to go send an email too winn1955@gmail.com with a self addressed stamped envelope. I will send you my mailing address. First response has first choice. If you can’t use all of them I will split them between others. If you like Bluegrass, and Country music this will be a good show. I have seen them before in North Carolina at a bluegrass festival and really enjoyed their performance. All I ask is that whoever goes please write a blog and tell me how the show went, maybe even some pics Who ever gets them enjoy your selves with a night out. I think there should be enough time to get them through the mail if they are sent for on Monday. I wish I had given more notice, but I just found out that I can’t go. It’s worth a shot anyhow.

Be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle
How "country" are they? We like some bluegrass, not so much country. Submitted by winn1955 on Sun, 09/14/2008 - 1:40pm.
Maxie The navy Band is very much Bluegrass. They are an excellent Band; The Navy Band has been around since 1972. They play many festivals through out the year. The men from the band played all night at my camp site at a festival I went too, along with Alison Kraus, when she was just sixteen, it was great a camp fire Jam. I love Bluegrass wish I could have went too this one, but Oh well such as life. The tickets are gone, Sharon and Charles are taking there family to see them. I look forward to reading their review of the concert. They seemed like such a nice couple, and I am glad the tickets will get used.
