Grand theft at Rooms-to-Go, with videoInvestigators are searching for the person or persons who drove off with trailers full of furniture, valued at about $92,000 from a Blanding Boulevard furniture store. Two 30-foot trailers, that were parked outside the business, were discovered missing at 2:30 p.m. Sept. 6. One contained about 94 pieces of furniture and the other had about seven pieces. The total loss was estimated at $65,000. Then at 7 a.m. Sept. 16, a trailer containing about 76 pieces of furniture was missing, loss estimated at $27,000. How can a person hook up a semi-trailer full of furniture to a truck and just take off during working hours of the business with nobody noticing or challenging? All on break? Don't care because there was no commission on the theft?
