I was born and raised in Greenville, SC (more specifically, Travelers Rest, in case anybody knows the area). I went to school at the University of South Carolina (Go Gamecocks!), where after 3 years of wasting a lot of tuition money I decided on journalism. Me? What can you say about yourself without feeling very self-absorbed? Well, let's start with my job. I am one of the Page Designers for your newspaper, My Clay Sun. I love my job and hope I am doing your community a service. I love to watch movies, listen to music and play golf. I drive all around Duval and the surrounding counties [especially Clay] to find those remote green-meadows to hit the ball around.

I've lived in Magnolia Point for five years, moving here from the Cleveland, Ohio, area. I've always loved Jacksonville. I was stationed at NAS in the 1950s and liked it from the day I arrived. I spent 41 years in marketing and advertising, many of those years as a writer for TV, radio and print. I love to write and have been running a regular Community Column for Green Cove Springs in the old Clay County Line for about a year. I was born in Pittsburgh but lived in New York City, Philadelphia, Washington, DC, and Cleveand. I am married to Alice, a wonderful wife, who is very active in Magnolia and Green Cove.
