death of police officers

Within 2 weeks, two of Clay County's finest died.  Sgt Craven Horne, Orange Park Police Department and Clay County resident, died after battling a brain tumor.  An obituary and a short little blurb appears in the MyCalySun print edition.  Then,Jacksonville Sheriff's officer Christopher Kane, Clay County resident, is killed in an automobile accident.  His death garners the cover and several pages inside the MyClaySun print edition.  Both of these men deserved to be honored and have their death covered in the local media.

Why did MyClaySun provide such different coverage for virtually the same story?
