Moran Should Know
First and foremost, thank you to the T-U for exposing yet another cretin who sits upon the bench sucking the lifeblood from the innocent like a demented spider. So, Aaron Bowden is a "no good son of a bitch". I'm sure, considering Judge Moran's history on and off the bench, that he would readily recognize his own kind. I would just like to comment here about how truly sickening I find the judges who have turned our Justice System into a Criminal Justice System in the worst sense of the term. Unfortunately, creatures like Moran and Bowden are not exceptions in the grand criminal enterprise. I do think it interesting that of all the ills judges have visited upon the citizenry, that merely firing a woman because she is dying and denying her future medical coverage is worthy of front page news. (For those of you who don't get me here without my tone of voice, it is dripping with sarcasm.)
Cancer claimed another today
This morning at 2:45 am my uncle succumber to lung cancer after a wonderful, yet too short life. Today I grieve him, and grieve for his wife, my aunt who faces her 'golden' years of retirement (years of planned cruises, trips to see the grandkids and friends, days by the pool, and more) alone. I hate cancer, and I hate smoking which is what caused his lung cancer I'm sure. But instead of writing about the evils of that, instead I write about the wonderful man who loved me like a daughter since he had only boys, always made me laugh, was like a father to my dad, and more. On a professional level, he retired as Vice President of the Steelworkers Union a few years back, always working and fighting for the rights of workers. He truly believed that everyone had a right to work for a fair living and had a right to be treated fairly. |
