A native Chicagoan, I migrated to Florida for college and graduated in 2005 with degrees in Creative Writing, Theatre and Literature (minor). Having previously worked on academic papers and publications for a total of seven years (with some healthcare jobs in between), I am really enjoying my work with My Clay Sun and the Times-Union.
For My Clay Sun, I manage the Leisure and Pets sections, and my writing, photos and videos increasingly appear in My Clay Sun, the Duval Sun publications and on Jacksonville.com. I also have the privilege of designing several specialty publications in Clay County and am a member of the Times-Union Tour Guides and Diversity Committee, and can be heard every Wednesday morning reading the news briefs for WJCT 89.9 National Public Radio.
