I sign on here as "JD". My dad always called me that. My mom called me "Dan" so I answer to both. The nuns in school called me "James" and I never answered to that and I still don't.

I retired from the telecommunications industry as the company I was working for was going out of business. I was a senior engineer but being over 50 and the market suddenly flooded with younger engineers with the same qualifications I chose to enter a new business.

While in college I minored in marketing. With this background I went into real estate full time. I had previous experience in the real estate business and took to the business like a duck takes to water. My engineering background has given me the ability to properly analyze market trends and pricing. In today's market that ability is critical.

My wife, Carol, joined me shortly after I established the business and she receives rave reviews from her customers. Together we are known as Team Weisenburger.

Having previously owned my own apartment complex I have become a property manager for absent property owners. In today's market many homeowners needing to move immediately find my service of finding good tenants to help pay the mortgage invaluable. I am with the best real estate professionals in the area at Vanguard Realty, Inc. GMAC Real Estate

I have been an avid sailor all my life and have owned sail boats ranging from 8 feet as a child up to 27 feet. I am presently boat-less.

My other hobby is Ham Radio. My call sign is KW4T. I am a member of the Orange Park Amateur Radio Club and also an active member of Clay County Amateur Radio Emergency Service (ARES), providing backup communications for the American Red Cross and emergency shelters in Clay County. Our ARES group has a facility set up at the Clay County Emergency Operations Center and we assist with communications during county wide emergencies and drills.

In addition to my local duties with public service aspects of ham radio I am also a member of the Hurricane Watch Net and we work directly with the National Hurricane Center in Miami providing the forecasters with real time weather information from the paths of approaching storms.

If you have questions about ham radio, real estate or you need an experienced person to help you sail a boat you can call me at (904) 553-0079 or email at kw4t@arrl.net any time.
